Karijini

At Karijini National Park, or the Hammesly Ranges it rained but that just made it more pretty...

Fern Pool

The mud does get into the camper trailer!

Then we drove to Tom Price to stay the night, while we were there we went on a mine tour...

On the tour we had to wear hard hats and safety glasses. At Tom Price they mine iron ore.  We left Tom Price after lunch to head back to the coast.
We decided no more rough roads but on the way from Tom Price to Exmouth we took the wrong turn and ended up on another dirt road. We thought, not to worry this way is shorter and the road seems quite good and it is only 49km.  As the bitumen appeared in front of us a rock flew up and smashed the back window.
Last night we stayed overnight at a camp site in Nanutarra. Really not much at this place! We are now in Exmouth and have to stay here for an extra couple of nights now because we cant get the window fixed until Monday morrning. We all think this is a pretty good place to have to wait.
